I got to give breastfeeding advice tonight

Well, got to discuss how to handle breastfeeding with a pregnant cousin of mine. I suggested that she interview the LCs she's considering to find out what experience they had in helping people breastfeed and that she try to find a toddler friendly LLL group. (Her toddler's not nursing, but he's only two so he'd need to come with her.)

She's absolutely determined to have nursing work this time and is working to line up her resources. The only problem she had last time was a bad latch and she ended up exclusively pumping, this time she's not going to let anyone give her baby a bottle or pacifier at all.

It's such a pleasure to talk with her about her plans. She's really thought this through and educated herself.

That's wonderful that she's so receptive and being proactive this time. I hope it all goes great!
