Any other may babies super easy?

I hope I don't jinx myself, but this little guy is so easy I almost thought something was wrong with him and had to ask the midwife about it My first had colic for months! I had no idea a baby could be this content. He's even smiling already and was flirting up a storm with the midwife today!

Don't get me wrong, I loved my dd, screaming and all..but gosh this is nice.

Yes! We have smiles, long naps, can be set down, totally mellow which is nothing like ds who was fabulous but high needs for sure!

i just posted something about this in our May '07 Life with Babe thread.....

i definitely had a high needs first born but my second & now third are so very manageable. and i have a hard time believing all the talk about being a stressed out first time mama.

but anyway....i, too, have a sweet little guy who cries little & sleeps a lot. but then again, he's only 10 days old!

yep - dd has been pretty easy so far (she is 18 days old). she even started out as a great nurser. my ds was also very mellow and easy (after we worked out our nursing issues) so i set myself up for this little one to be much more high needs. i am hoping this lasts! i don't even feel too sleep deprived! she does nurse several times through the night, but she's all business and then back to sleep.

We made it to day 17 and then all hell broke loose.... of course, she sleeps whenever we go out, so everyone ELSE thinks she's a little angel. I still love her to bits though, screaming all night and everything.

I don't know what day it was that it ended, but yeah mine was easy peasy at first too. He's not horrible now (he's almost four weeks old), but man when he needs something, he needs it NOW and he's gonna tell me about it! It takes a while for him to fall asleep - he's not much of a fall-asleep-nursing kind of guy, which means I have to GET UP at night and walk him around. Hoping he gets over that soon.

yes this child seems to be the blue jello to my ds3 electricity. he has a calming effect on him which is wonderful!

he sleeps ok at night and takes great naps. eats well and is just generally happy and sedate!

My ds was extremely difficult (reflux, difficulty bf'ing, etc etc). My dd before this one was super easy and stayed easy. I remember it was heaven! This new little girl (now 2 weeks old) is following in the footsteps of her big sis and is pretty darn easy. I hope she stays that way!

Knock on wood, but DS has been very easy so far. I'm very, very grateful for that.

My sweepy is just over 3 weeks old now. She is great. My last child was nowhere near this "easy". He just wanted to nurse and be held ALLLLL the time. I now know that if I had had a sling and known what I know now, it would probably have changed things last time.

But we are really enjoying her layed back nature. She is going thru a growth spurt, thank goodness, and she wants to nurse more, but she LOVESSSS the Moby Wrap. I am a huge advocate for them now.
