ok I gather for reading the past posts that there used to be a sticky on how to test for waterproofness. There aren't any stickies any more and while i searched, I cannot find any threads that fit. Can anyone help?

I tried to find it, but I couldn't. It basically talked about how water and urine have different properties. If water does/doesn't soak through, then that doesn't mean that urine will/won't do the same. I am sorry, but I forgot the test. I think it was mostly that you have to wait until you have a live baby just to be sure. There is one more thing to consider. If you try your item on a live baby and it works, that doesn't mean that your child will pee the same way, speed, or direction as the "test" child. I know that this doesn't help that much, but at least it kind of gives you an answer.
