Thanks for the tips! Silver spoons had boutique-ie (is that a word?!) clothes, expensive keepsakes, fancy fabric bjorn type carriers, and they started carrying Melissa and Doug toys when last I was in.
Curious about the other stores...
Bumkins are so expensive! Moby's are awesome! My little guy lived in one last winter=)

Welcome to the area Jen! I'm in the RNM group (although I live in Portland, Oregon and vicariously imagine my daughter is able to play with all of her Sparks cousins whenever she wants...) and if you aren't yet a member I would highly recommend it. Just had a salivating thread about recommended yummy locally owned restaurants and they are now figuring out regular park playdates.

Jen~ I am in Gardnerville and would love to meet up with you some day soon. We are usually busy with Toddler Time on Tue and Thu mornings (you could come too if you wanted its all ages but its down here) but a day at a park or the children's museum on Mon or Wed morning would be fun! I am also on the Reno Nat. moms group on yahoo.

As for non vax friendly peds, my good friend recommended Dr. Thomas at Pediatrics R Us on Pyramid. We had our first visit with her today and she was VERY nice ! No talk of vaxes, but it was his 1 month check up, so no vaxes at that time anyway.
