baby moses arrived this morning at 1 am!

hey guys!!

just wanted to tell everyone that our 9 pound baby boy was born this morning at 1 am!

it was a super duper intense experience and labor....more later but everyone is fine! i am on iv antibiotics for a fever during labor, suspected infection from breaking the waters (?) but otherwise was walking around the halls an hour after pushing him out.

why didnt anyone prepare me for how incredibly intense pushing was? (and transition and everything else)

nothing went according to plan except we got a vaginal birth and a healthy kid! so the important stuff went according to plan.

Congratulations!!! Intensity, while not always pleasant, is never overrated and can bring about some of the most awesome experiences and growth! My labor was SUPER intense (both labors, actually), and I now feel like super woman!
