Procion dyes for prefolds?

I have a ton of dharma procion dye for making playsilks. Can I use this on CPF's? Or will it not take? If I can use it, do I do it the same way I dye silk?

It works. Procion is used "for all natural fibers" according to Dharma Trading. I purchased some specifically for use on prefolds, although I have not used it yet.

I believe this is what Laura of El Bee uses.

I have used it on silk and cotton - both in the same vat - because it can be used on all natural fibers (silk, cotton, etc.) It worked great for me.

do you know if dying will affect their absorbancy?

I seriously doubt it - that is could lessen there absorbency - at least to any noticeable degree. I have used it for t-shirts, and I can tell you that it doesn't change the feel to the cotton shirts at all.

I love embelishing my pfs and the dharma dyes work great A bunch of mamas at diapertraders do it too with no problems.
