Movin' on up! Baby Girl Born!

Just thought that I'd say hello and introduce myself! My original due date was May 18th, moved back to the 24th after the ultrasound and I am still pregnant! This Tuesday I was almost 100% effaced and a bit more than 2 centimeters dialated. Yesterday I had an NST and baby is perfectly happy where he/she is. So we'll see if anything happens over the weekend. Last night I had painful but not horrible contractions for around 2 hours and they averaged to be about 10 mins. apart. I decided to sleep and they went away. I never imagined that I'd still be pregnant.

I'm glad you and your baby are doing well. Is the waiting driving you crazy or are you handling the emotional side of it well, too?

At times the wait drove me crazy for sure. I had to believe that my baby would come when she was ready.... and she did!

Annalise Marie was born on June 2nd at 2:18 PM after 4 short hours of labor. So much quicker than with my first! She was 9 lbs 9 oz when born and 22 1/2 inches long! I had a drug free hospital birth that I am so proud of. I was 8 cen. dialated when we got to the hosp. and I ended up pushing for less than 10 minutes!

Congratulations! You could definitely teach me a thing or two about waiting. Patience is NOT my greatest virtue. I'm glad your little girl arrived safe and sound. I sure hope my little guy doesn't want to stay in there that long. He seems pretty happy where he is right now.
