Are there only a handful of us left? All I want to do is hold my babe! I am somewhere between 1 and 2 weeks overdue depending on what date you hold me to. Earlier today I introduced myself to the June DDC. I can't believe it!

Here. From tomorrow I can't have my homebirth. I am absolutely devastated.
And baby still hasn't dropped, which is starting to worry me an awful lot.
This is such a crappy end to pregnancy.

of course you can still have your homebirth.....if you really want it INSIST that you get a supportive midwife attending you......it would be such a shame to get a birth you really dont want just because of arbitrary timelimits.

a normal human gestation is from 37 to 42 weeks......meaning you only actually are 'overdue' at 42 weeks!

I am here . . .8 days late by my revised by ultrasound EDD. 15 days late by my LMP. I'm very depressed about it: NOTHING is going on, no crampies or any signs at all. Sigh. Has anyone tried acupuncture?

I got acupuncture when I was 15 days past my edd with dd1 and I went into labor on the acupuncturist's table during my second session! It definitely worked for me.

I haven't done acupuncture, but I credit the acupressure spots posted in another May thread for starting my labor this time. Hubby worked the inner leg one, repeated several times as it says (even after contractions started), and I definitely did KNOW when he was hitting the right spot - it was still sore the next day.
