Cleaning metal water bottles (Sigg/Klean Kanteen)

I'm just wondering what you guys use to clean yours? We mostly drink just water of out them, so soap and water works good. But occasionally someone uses them for something else (usually dh) and does rinse them right out and they need more. But I just realized that the tablets that Sigg sells have SLS in them, which we try to avoid. Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

The KKs I just swish out with vinegar/warm water. If they are beyond mildly dirty, I soak them for a bit. I am not sure how the coating on the sigg bottles would react to that... I don't know what they are coated with. But it has worked great for our KKs.

Well, I gave it a try last night and it seems to have worked. I just put a small splash of the vinegar with hot water and let it sit. I just swished it around every time I passed by.

Seems to have worked, I rinsed it out and let it air dry, and now it seems good.

thanks!
