This was us, too. I've been charting for 3 1/2 years so I know my cycle really well and we're not as rigid with following the "rules" as we could be. The "night to remember" happened 3 days before my temp shift, so I thought we were in the clear. But then the temps kept going up... and my normal luteal phase of 14 days passed... and on day 19 I thought it was time to take the test!

The rest is history!

We weren't trying - we were actually using spermicide and frequency (keeps the count down - plus, we kinda love each other & everything) and keeping an eye on the calendar to keep from getting pregnant. So it was a total surprise. I was very tempted to be angry & upset...until I saw all the threads about people working so hard TTC. That, & some prayer, made me grateful. Keep trying, mommas-to-be!

Well, I had my first PP AF in February and had three more regular cycles after that. We had decided to wait for TTC until next January / February, but I guess we weren't careful enough. We weren't really trying, but we certainly weren't trying to avoid it! At least, not hard enough. I have a very regular cycle and thought we were "safe", but I guess not! My LMP was about 5/2, which gives me an EDD of 2/6/08.
