This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

i dont think theres anything that you should be worried about...she might get chicken pox, or whatever...but the chances of her getting these illnesses from people who are in the general community are good too...
are you worried about something in particular, or just in general?

I dont stop my kids from being around anyone. The only way to build an immune system is to be exposed to germs. We had a garage sale today with all kinds of people and kids. No problem here!
No just wondering if kids who get teh live vaccines would put her at risk.

It could. But if you have decided to no longer vax, then this is the "risk" you take. Personally, I don't think it is much of a risk. If my children get measles, mumps and rubella, so be it. I survived them all and I am of no doubt they would too. They have had chicken pox and a very, very mild case of pertussis.

The new live virus for rotavirus is a bit of a problem, but if you aren't changing the baby's diapers, it certainly reduces the chances of you catching it and giving it to your kid. And one hopes that anyone who changes a diaper washes their hands carefully afterwards...
Unfortunately there isn't a warning on the Rotateq vax about the fact that people can catch it from the baby (or has this been fixed?).

Zahirakids, <sarcasm on> what don't you understand about COINCIDENCE? Whatever makes you think there might be a connection between a vaccine and a death?
