i am still incredibly sore. i don't remember how long it took me to 'recuperate' after isaac's birth. but this one did a number my innards (and outards!). and last night i choked on some milk and had a cough attack and just completely peed my pants. i never had any incontinence after isaac's birth....so i *hope* that isn't a permanent thing. i think it is too early to tell. all the muscles are weak and tired.
i had an epidural with my first birth so this was a wildly different experience. but it was exactly what i had hoped for.....quick with no interventions. although it felt like the longest 40 minutes of my life. it seemed like HOURS to me but it wasn't
