Report by the E.P.A. Leaves Out Data on Climate Change

Environmental Protection Agency is preparing to publish a draft report next week on the state of the environment, but after editing by the White House, a long section describing risks from rising global temperatures has been whittled to a few noncommittal paragraphs.

I clicked on this article last night, but was put off by the horrifying, full-screen, "must watch first before reading article, or click on a different link to avoid it" ad for some whompin' huge SUV being peddled by Tiger Woods.

I can't believes the lengths this administration goes to in order to serve the needs of its beloved constituents: large corporations who do not want to have to change their business practices or have their products imperiled by changes in environmental laws. And besides, Bush and Co will be gone by the time our environment is so screwed up that normal life as we know it has been destroyed.
