Our little guy is here

Tijn (closest pronunciation: tine) was born after an induction on thurs may 31st, at 36w6d. The labor was crazy fast, he's a healthy 7.15 pounds. Unfortunately he's in the small percentage of babies that have slightly underdeveloped lungs still at his gestation, and he's in NICU, intubated and ventilated. He's a total champ though, and if all keeps on going as it is right now, he'll be ok soon.

Life is crazy here, I'll update more when things are kinda normal again.

Welcome little one - hope he strengthens those lungs fast and is home with you soon. He was a big guy for just (almost) 37 weeks.

Congratulations!! Aren't our bodies amazing?? I remember how everyone was so concerned about your baby's size because you were hardly showing! And look how big he was, and he was early!! Take care of yourself while he's in the NICU and I hope he comes home soon.

From on 36 weeker to another....
Congratulations & good luck to you & your babe!!
We just got off of the phototherapy two days ago - and today is DS' 2 week birthday - what a relief!

Your babe too will be okay - healthy & strong - & everything will be back to normal soon.

Oh CONGRATS! I have to say he was a BIG boy and I am glad... You and I shared a due date and a small belly issue... I am always hearing, WOW you are soooo small... Are you sure he is ok? I know he is fine and so will you little man be soon!
