I can't stop thinking about creme brulees but dd#1 is sensitive to dairy. Do you think it will work if I replace the cream in the recipes with coconut cream?

mamatowill, sometimes I use all coconut milk and sometimes half coco milk and half milk or cream.
2 cups coconut milk
5 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4-1/2 cup xylitol , depending how sweet you like it.(I know this isn't in NT but it doesn't feed candida and it's good for teeth)
Some stevia just a couple drops, taste after 2 drops then make adjustments to your taste, too much and it's bitter! I like vanillla creme drops from sweetleaf. netrition has the best price I've seen:

Put all ingredients in the blender and whip for a couple minutes.
Pour into ramkins then place in pan of hot water and bake at 325 for about an hour. Chill well. Enjoy!

and here's a pretty good price on xylitol:

Thanks! I am going to make the recipe as soon as I can get some xylitol. It would be good for DS's teeth.
