How is your nesting manifesting??

In the last week, I've sewn a diaper bag, two slings, a blanket, diaper pail liners, 21 baby wipes, and I'm preparing to make another diaper bag!! So i guess all this sewing is nesting!!

I've already oragnized most of the house, and all of the baby/birth stuff. I need to grocery shop and stock up for hopefully the last time (fingers crossed)!!

What are you feeling compelled to do to prepare for your baby?

normally id be wanting to sew, but seeing as ive made that into a business, im not really wanting to sew anymore

i go through phases of intense cleaning, ordering others to clean for me , doing laundry obsessively, and just organizing. im really quite lax this time around...im sure part of it is because we dont have a bedroom for this one, thus no nursery to set up...just have to empty out the bassinette and wash it

I'm desperate to get stuff put away in my pretty-much-finished-getting-remodeled kitchen!

Cleaning and organizing. Almost obsessively so at times. But I go in spurts.

I've been doing that decluttering challenge over in the Mindful Home Management forum. Last month my goal was clear out 80 unnecessary items and I made it to 94! So organizing has been my main focus. I guess I should probably start some other stuff too....

Oh, and I've been knitting little wee matching things for the new babe and my almost 3 yr old.

I've gotten too lazy to nest. I started really nesting around 34 weeks so I think I've nested everything that could possibly be nested

My house is really clean. The inside of the refrigerator, the woodwork around every doorway, behind the couch and under the bed...it's good to go!

After a multi-year struggle, I have finally conquered Mt. Washmore. There is a half a load of dh's work shirts on the basement floor and a few random articles in a basket. I'm particularly proud of this feat as I did it all without using the dryer :

The fridge is stocked with food we like. I'm almost positive that everything in there is edible.

It hasn't. Now after reading the op, I feel the need to go figure out how to thread my sewing machine.

Stocking up food in the pantry, sewing for my 2,5 year old, cleaning, getting organized: I'm turning into an orderly person!!!
I wish I would be more like this when I'm not pregnant!

Oh yeah: mending broken toys and things around the house, that really declutters my mind too!

I am just trying to keep on top of the house, making sure nothing gets too dirty. If it isn't how I would want to see it when I come home from the hospital, I'm cleaning it.

It's actually pretty nice, the floors are pretty clean, bathrooms presentable. I wish it was more like this when I wasn't pg .
