I am not in labor, right?

I'm not ready to be in labor! Plus, it already hurts and I'm scared. I've been having contractions on and off since this afternoon. Mostly they are every 7-10 minutes. I have some pink tinged discharge too. The contractions are more than just braxton hicks, but they don't last very long. I hope I can sleep through them! it would suck to be up all night for no reason!

Sounds like early labour to me! Pink tinged discharge, contrax fairly regular. What about that is not labour?

Good luck mama! In early labour my midwife told me to take some Tylenol and Gravol and sleep if possible.

I agree, it definitely sounds quite possible that you're in labor. Try to relax and rest, even if you can't sleep. Stay hydrated, and get as comfortable as you can.

I hope everything goes smoothly for you!

definitely sounds promising. i agree with the other two. it's so hard to not get excited and focus on the labor, but if you can rest, relax, hydrate, and soon enough you'll know for sure if it's the real thing.

Sounds possible! Try to rest, even if it's just lying down and not sleeping. Good luck and keep us posted if you can!

Ready or not, here they come!!

I was not ready to go into labor either. Actually, I wasn't ready for my water to break which happened before I went into labor. It was surreal and I totally sympathize with you. But that wont stop me from wishing you happy, healthy labor vibes!

the contractions continued all night, were pretty painful at times, but still not lasting very long or on any regular interval. I didn't sleep so well! I haven't had any since I got up this morning though.

Get some rest today - I hear you on wanting to delay. I am so not ready yet - need just a few more days (preferably another week!)

over 2 days now and still having contractions on and off. sometimes they are just annoying, sometimes they hurt. how much longer can this really go on for? also, whenever I get one I have to pee really badly, the baby must be pressing into my bladder...or is that normal?

Oh, goodness yes! Every time I have a contr'x, I have to peeeeeeee! And that's on top of the regular have to pee every five minutes thing! I'm sorry you're dealing with prodromal! That can be no fun
