twins?

Anyone think they will have twins? Hoping?

Fraternal twins run in my family, and my mom believes that I will be the one to have this generation's set. All of my other cousins have had children already.

Yet another reason why I am not telling my mom until at least 12 weeks.

My last pregnancy was twins- there's a strong family history in both sides, so hopefully that was it. Three under three? Five under nine? No thanks, I'll save them for a first-time mum

I'm not hoping for twins any more than I'm hoping form a Down's baby, but if either of those things happen, I'll deal.

My grandfather was a twin and I think it was one of my great-great grandfathers who was a triplet. I always wanted a set of twins until my xsil had one and I saw how difficult and unnatural it was to try to raise too infants at the same time. I don't see anything cute about it any more, but I sure do admire mothers of multiples and have to admit lurking on their board and reading their books and magazines at times to get practical hints when I had two under three.

For my other pregnancies I prayed for twins.

Now I'm 43, and struggling to figure out how to fit one baby into our lives around here. TWO, yikes, not praying for that this time!

With my luck it'll be triplets, and we'll be in big trouble.
