DH left this morning- it was really sad knowing he will not be here. Things seemed to start last night so i had a glimmer of hope and then it all faded into nothing. I had so hoped he would be here.
I am busy reinforcing the belly cast with polyfiller ( made it runny and painted it on to fill the ridges, i have sanede it and and applied gesso, it now needs to be sanded again then then will be sprayed mother of pearl and i want to paint the henna design my sister did of the butterfly on it. I will put it in my study/sewing room as dh is not a belly cast fan

My sister and best friend ( the 2 who did the belly cast- nothing like being naked for a belly cast to get rid of any inhibitions) will both be here, if they can come in time. Sister for dd and best friend for me.
Dd wants to be in the pool with me and we have been reading our water baby so we will see how things go on the day.
Everything is now ready- at least dh was able to help me with that, i just have to figure out all the hose attachments etc when the time comes, i hope labour is slow enough in the beginning to give me a chance to do it all. I have the box of supplies ready and have shown them where everything is
We left South Africa with very heavy hearts as it is our home and we love it, but the crime is just too much for our comfort levels, especially after a friend of our was killed in their house and with dh being away so much.
We came to England because we can get ancestry visas for here and it was easy and quick. I would rather living in Australia which i think would be more like SA but it takes 2 years to get the visa, we did not want to wait. But we may look at applying from here.
Willow: i have lived in Switzerland and England before this move
