How are you feeling these days?
Your son is just a few weeks older than my daughter - how does he feel about getting a little sister?
Does he talk a lot?
How did you get interested in natural family living?

I never thought I would make it pregnant to my spotlight, but here goes.

How am I feeling?~~ That is a tough question to answer, as I am feeling pretty good physically, sleeping well, but emotionally I am on a roller-coaster ride. I had two "due dates", my LMP and my ovulation, my LMP came and went and for some reason I convinced myself I was wrong about my ovulation date and never thought I would go this far, turns out I was right, because my ovulation date is this Saturday. DH and I were convinced we would have the baby in the end of May, therefore setting ourselves up for a lot of dissapointment. I go through different "feelings" on I am happy the baby is healthy and is still developing, and my comfort over the health of baby is not as important, to Get this baby out of me before I hurt someone , so tough question to answer-huh:

How does my son feel~~ Well we don't actually know if we are having a little girl, but I think he is as excited as any two year old could be, I think it is going to be a tough transition for him, but I know in the long run I am happy to have them only 2 years apart as I "hope" they will be friends through life. KWIM?

Does he talk a lot?~~
Funny you should ask, because frankly he never stops. He is such a bright, energetic, happy little boy, and a lot of work, especially for a big full term pregger lady.

How did I get interested in natural family living Well I grew up in a "natural" home, and I am not sure, it just came naturally to me. I began reading A LOT, became a vegetarian, (not anymore), and got a passion for caring for my body, my DH and now my ds. I am always learning and seeking out more information on healthy living, caring for the environment, food and am currently a student of herbalism. I love the medicinal healing properties of our earths most abundant resouces, and strive to learn more about non-traditional ways of healing and health. Now I do believe there is a time and place for traditional medicine, there is just a need to know when to utalize it.

Thanks for the questions, it was fun to talk about myself

oops, I don't know why I thought you were having a girl! do you have a feeling one way or another?
I too have two different due dates. based on lmp it would be the 13th but based on an early u/s it's around the 20th. I'm trying not to get set on either date! it is very hard!
what's the weather like in boulder right now?

We are actually "hoping" for a girl, so that's ok.
I say stick to the later date as your due date, that way if you go earlier it will be a pleasant surprise
The weather in Boulder is really nice, we are having just the right amount of rain and sun with temps in the 70's-80's. I love spring and summer here!

I'm trying to catch up on the Spotlights - it's hard once everyone starts having babies, too!

If there was one herb that you would recommend EVERYONE take, what would it be?

What is your daily/weekly supplement regimen?

Herbs everyone should take~ I would absolutely reccoment stinging nettles!!!! It is an amazing, nourishing beautiful herb. Herbalists have a saying that goes, "when in doubt, nettles"! It is so rich in minerals and vitamins. Great for anemia, nerves, allergies, so many things, Everyone can benefit from nettles.

My daily supplement regimine Right now I am taking rainbow lights prenatals, the six a day, not the one a day. Cal/mag, fish oil, and an herbal infusion of, Stinging nettle, oatstraw, red raspberry, alfalfa, and rosehips. Sounds like a lot, but it's not too bad.

How does stinging nettles come? How much should someone take?

There's a natural food store 1/2 mile from my house that I can walk the dog to - how far is your closest supplier?

I give my kids Acidophilus & a multivitamin regularly. What's your favorite supplement for children?
