polyurethane foam in headboard?

OK. I found a bed that I love. It's upholstered and has polyurethane foam. I know it's terrible for the environment, but does it offgass? If so, is it one of those forever offgassing materials?

Yes, poly foam offgasses. I think you can mitigate it by wrapping it in wool, but it will still offgas. I'm not sure if/when the offgassing stops.

Yeah, that's what all the research points to and I still can't get a guarantee as to when it'll stop offgassing. I'll pass on this purchase. Thx
