Sorry, I just had to rant briefly.

I've been interested in those dryer balls for some time, yet just can't quite get myself comfortable to buy them. I wondered what type of plastic they were made out of. So I searched the forums and found a couple of people who said the less expensive ones were PVC which made it an instant dealbreaker for me. So I decided to check into the more expensive "Nellie's" dryer balls.

They have a whole webpage talking about how their dryer balls are completely non-toxic because they are made of PVC! Give me a break! PVC heated time after time in the dryer isn't going to release some toxins (like dioxin?)!?!?!

I just get frustrated that they're trying to sell the product as being non-toxic when I don't see how it could be. If a PVC shower curtain off-gasses chemicals, how much more would PVC heated up be? I'd have preferred they just state they were PVC and leave it there rather than selling them as "non-toxic".

Sorry for the soapbox moment. I'll climb off it now...
