Where can I get natural cleaning products?

A friend of mine recently recommended the company melaleuca but when I did a search on here, it seemed like a lot of people had some negative experiences with them. So I'm interested in finding natural, non-toxic cleaning products in particular. Right now, our house is very un-natural so I'm new to all of this! I don't know that I'd be up for making anything myself. I have heard of using just vinegar to clean but the smell seems really unappealing to me. Any other ideas for good websites, stores, etc? Thanks!

You can find many products in supermarkets now, including:

Bon Ami cleanser (good for tubs and tiles)
Murphy's Oil Soap (good for wood floors)
Baking Soda (good for scrubbing sinks)
Borax (great for cleaning toilet bowls)
Arm & Hammer Essentials liquid laundry detergent

Many supermarkets also carry Seventh Generation brand products - dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, all-purpose cleaner, etc.

For an internet resource, I'd recommend www.drugstore.com. At the home page, click on the tab labeled "natural" and you'll find many choices. Bi-O-Kleen, Seventh Generation and Mrs. Meyers products are my personal favorites.

I buy mine at www.differentdaisy.com - she has little samples of most cleaners that have been great since I have many allergies.

When I use something other than vinegar, I go to the local health food stores. Even my local grocery store is starting to carry natural cleaning products from Seventh Generation and Ecover which is wonderful

I either make my own cleaning products using vinegar, baking soda and Dr. Bronner's or I buy them at my local HFS. My local store carries Seventh Generation, Ecover, and Bio-Kleen. Our local co-op carries some as well.

I like the stuff from Natural Choices. http://www.oxyboost.com/

I've ordered Seventh Generation stuff from Amazon. Order enough and you get free shipping.

We use vinegar, water, a little Dr. Bronner's and a complementary essential oil for almost everything (wiping surfaces, mopping the kitchen floor, etc.). We clean windows and mirrors with a vinegar/water solution and newsprint. For tubs and toilets I like Bon Ami. For wood I like Murphy's oil (although I'm not convinced that it's that great for me and the environment, it works really well on our wood floors).

I think that most specialized cleaners are unnecessary.

I also saw on "how clean is your house", they used lemon oil and water to wash down wood instead of those "wood spray" cleaners like pledge etc. You can get lemon oil in Home depot or lowes in the stain section.
