less toxic paint for painting a child's room?

We are moving into a new home and would like to paint our DD's room. Is there any paint we could use that would allow us to paint the room and have her sleep there the same night? something less toxic or with less fumes? She sleeps in a crib, so to disassemble it, take it out of the room, and then put it back is a real pain.
Thanks!

Pittsburgh Paint makes a great no-voc paint called pure performance. there's also afm safecoat, and things like clay paint or milk paint.

Benjamin Moore makes a very nice low VOC paint. It covers well, cleans up easily and leaves no odor - none at all. I did some painting in the late afternoon and when DH came home a few hours later, he didn't believe I had painted because there was no telltale smell.

Even more impressive - we have a pet that reacts to "everything" (he could be the quality control inspector for any green product company!) and he was just fine during and after the painting. That may not mean anything to you - but, if you knew our pet's history, you would be impressed.

DH and I would never use a regular paint indoors again, having seen for ourselves that we didn't have to compromise on quality to use a safer product ... even if we didn't have our pet insisting we go "green"!

Sherwin Williams also has no-VOC paint now. We used it on our ceilings...worked great!

SICO has a no-VOC paint.

Be aware that adding colour or tint to the paint adds VOCs but by starting with a no-VOC paint you will be greatly reducing the number of VOCs your family is exposed to.

We've used the Sherwin Williams zero-VOC paint throughout our house and have been extremely pleased.
