She's almost exactly 6 months. I also have an almost 2 yr old, a 4 yr old, and a 7 yr old.

This should be fun!

My youngest (and only) is just six months too, so we're looking at a similar spread (except that I don't really know how pregnant I am so I could be a January mom...). But if you have an almost 2 year old too, you did something similar last time, right?

My son is 2 years and 4 months right now. He'll be almost 3 when the baby is born.

My youngest DS is 10 months, turning 11 months on Friday. So I think that's 18-20 months apart

I have an 18 month baby boy and I am so nervous about having two little ones about 26 months apart!

No, actually my almost 2 yr old is (in the process of being) adopted. But still, if you look at my kids' birthdays, you'll notice the shrinking gap between babies. Maybe my next one will be twins.

Close together can be good. Get a double stroller and embrace the chaos.

This baby is due 4 months after my older children turn 3 and 5...I'm hoing the slightly larger age difference this time will make the first year a little easier. We'll see!

Mary
Hi Mary, you may not remember, but we were in the "pregnancy after a loss" forum at the same time when you were expecting Arianna and I was expecting Moses! I'm excited to see we're both expecting again!

I'll have about a 20 month spread and I have NO idea how I'm going to do it. : But my dd will be almost 9 (!) by then and she already has almost more mothering instinct with her little brother than I do! I know she'll be a big help.:

My first two are 20 months apart this baby will have a 24 month gap so I'll have a 3.7 year old, 2 year old and then newborn...

My DD turns one tomorrow and I'm 5.5 weeks pregnant... I'm sure it will be tough, but we want a big family and are both pretty laid back... so giddiup!

Our girls are nearly 7 and 2 1/2 so the "baby" will be just over 3 when her little brother/sister arrives. She's still very much a mama's girl and I can't imagine having her be any younger when a new sibling arrived. She's still constnatly "ON" me even though she already weaned and she refuses to let daddy help her in favor of mommy. I watched a 6 month old a little while back and she was SOOOOO jealous. I think it's going to be an interesting road! The almost 7 year old is a little jealous still of her sister but she's going to be absolutely thrilled to have another baby coming. She's been asking for over a year now for another baby. She is a HUGE help with getting things for me as I sit stuck in a rocker nursing or slinging the baby(when the 2 year old was smaller) while I'm in the shower. I just bought a mei tai specifically for her and I'm going to be making a wrap for her. That way she is capable of slinging the baby safely while I supervise. She even changes some diapers, she actually asks. So she's a huge help to me. I am so excited.

My 8 yr old dd really wants her own wrap or mei tai! But her "little" brother is a hefty 25 pounds and she's a very petite 42 pounds, so I'm not sure she'll be able to carry him! But maybe for the next baby... Where did you find a child-sized mei tai?

Maggie is 5 and Will is 3, they were born about 26 months apart. It was hard because Maggie was such a Mama's girl and baby came along, I sometimes wish we had waited a couple more years before Will, but they love each other so much and play really well with each other. Will will be almost exactly 4 years older than this baby, so we will see how that goes

My 40-pound son carries my 32 pound daughter all the time. It's an absolute riot, he's only about four inches taller than she is. He's a real beefcake, though.
