Kiara Elizabeth Anne was born at 2:27 am on Tuesday June 5th. She was 10 pounds 1 ounce (yah that is right, 10 pounds 
) 20.5 inches long. Born 2.5 hours after her due date. We arrived at the hospital at 1:15 am and I was in transition. I was planning on a water birth but the tub wasn't ready and I just wasn't up to getting in the tub which is in a different room. Labor was way too intense to do much moving at that point. I eventually moved to a birthing stool from my hands and knees position in the bed and gave birth that way. It was great! I really liked the stool. Even though she was HUGE I had no tears at all. So great. We got home yesterday and she stayed up all night last night so I'm very tired. I think I'm going to go sleep now. Congratulations to all the new mamas.
