Yup, it's will be official that after tomorrow, I will be overdue. I feel like I am going to lose my mind when I wake up each morning. I have had no symptoms of labor even approaching!!!!!! I have tried everything... Welp, I am sure that I am not the only one... hopefully

Hang in there! With dd I went to 42 weeks 3 days and those were seriously the loooooongest weeks of my life! Try to find fun things to do to take your mind off it, and enjoy shocking the bejeebus out of people who ask "when are you due"!

with my first I went 43 and 2 days.....never even went into labor....had to get induced and then got a c-section. I am terrified of going over by that much this time....so I am trying lots of stuff to get labor moving.

1. primrose oil (4 pills day) plus insert one at night
2. Caulo and Cimi homepathic (blue/black cohosh in homeopathic form).....one 30c every hour.....x8 hours a day
one day I do caulo, one day I do cimi, and the 3rd day nothing.

3. pelvic tilts (for better positioning)

4. acupuncture every other day starting week 40

5. tincture forms of the cohoshes at 41 weeks

5. acupessure at home...

seems a bit excessive...but had you gone over by 3 weeks before, you'd be a bit worried too...

especially being a vbac...I do not need any extra interventions when I go to the hospital

Good bless anyone who goes to 42 weeks (or heck 43+ yikes!!!) - I will not be that brave.

Great suggestions.

Oh, I know how you feel! This is baby #6 and everyone before this baby has been between 4 to 14 days past due.... And what do you know, so far we are 4 days past the "Due Date" with this one. I really wish that due dates were given in the "Between May and June" kind of terminology! Hang in there !

Today I'm 40 weeks, and just a teeny bit bummed because both of my other kids were born at 38 weeks!

My main worry here is that to birth at the birthing center, I can't be over 42 weeks. I know I know that's 2 whole weeks away but still, I'm getting nervous about that. I REALLY don't want to birth at the hospital!

I'm wondering if/when I should start being more proactive, with massages, accupuncture and the like...

My acupuncturist is willing to start labor-promoting treatment once I'm 40 weeks. Partly, her willingness is because she helped me get pregnant (acupuncture treatment--nothing kinkier than that! ) and she knows I was charting plus had an early u/s, so our dates are SOLID.

Massage, I say start trying that now if you can afford it! If nothing else, it will make you happier while you wait. Seriously, I think massage and chiropractic adjustment are much more "help your body that is ready to start what it wants to do" as opposed to some other interventions that are more powerful nudges.

I'm going with a similiar plan. I've been having massages since 37 weeks. I'll have another this Wed, and if no baby by about 41 weeks, I'll probably try accupuncture.

Still have a week til EDD, and it feels like the longest week ever. LOL! I *think* I can birth at home up until 42 weeks, but I honestly haven't asked.

Hi, mommies!

Have been lurking the forums here for a few weeks. Nice, positive, homey atmosphere. Likey!

I'm 39 weeks today but in no hurry. This is my 2nd baby but 1st home-birth, and I am so excited about this birth that I could PEE -- so I am saaavoring the anticipation.

Think I might "attack" the husband tonight, though. Partly to possibly-kinda-sorta-maybe get things going, but also because WHEN WILL WE GET ANOTHER CHANCE?

Well-wishes to everyone. Think happy, relaxing, "my body is opening-up"-thoughts!
