Flying first trimester

My DH and i are newly pregnant with #2...

we have tentative plans to fly to the east coast (we are in CA) around week 10...is there any reason I can't fly during my first trimester

I flew to Brazil from Texas when I was 9 weeks pregnant. My OB at the time had no issues with it. Have a great trip.

As a midwife, I dont have a problem with clients flying - but I do know that some airlines have issues with late pregnancy fliers...

I decided not to fly during my pregnancies because of concerns about radiation. I couldn't find good documentation either way though and I suppose it's one of those personal comfort level things. I'm sure I did things while pregnant that others would consider too risky.
