looking for positive & natural hospital birth stories

My friend is having her 3rd baby and tried with her first two to homebirth but ended up having a lot of complications and ended up in hospital both times. This time she is going to plan a hospital birth with mw & doula. She's going to be using hypnobirthing and would love to hear many positive birth stories about hospital births. So far all she's heard is negative stuff and I'd like to print some positive stories for her. Can you help direct me? I've searched here and have found one so far but it's hard by looking at the titles of many which are hospital, natural and positive.

Thank you so much!
Mary

Well, my most recent birth was in a hospital, all-natural, and very positive! The birth story is here:

Wellllll, my birth was really hard, although my experience at the hospital was positive (I was at a birth center contained within a hospital). Anyway, you can read about it here if you want!

I just posted my birth story on this forum... the thread is called Maaike's natural hospital birth. It was A VERY positive experience. And be sure to tell her that being in a hospital allowed for fifteen doctors to run into the room when she needed them.

By the way though you may want to omit the part about me wishing I'd planned a home birth! Yes, I want a home birth next time and wish it was a possibility last time, but my birth was incredible. And with midwives, it's a completely different experience (depending on the hospital of course), but with me I never even saw a nurse or doctor until after the birth. It was only me, my partner and midwife and we had the room just as I wanted it.

I haven't ever posted my son's birth story, but yes it is possible to have a drug-free natural birth at a hospital - with a midwife, no IV, private birthing room, etc.

Two GREAT hospital births with no pain meds here. Both were medically indicated inductions with pitocin. A friend who is a veteran L&D nurse and very pro-natural birth was with me for both, and she helped a lot.

I was planning a home birth but at week 37 I was suffering from pretty serious symptoms of Toxemia/Preeclampsia. I was induced and had an AMAZING UNMEDICATED hospital birth. I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. My daughter is beautiful and I love having her. I want a homebirth in the future but I have very fond memories of my first experience of childbirth.

I also had a very good Doula and my sweet husband was my rock!
