Madison Lila was born Friday, June 8 at 8:05 PM. She weighed 7 lbs, 14 oz. Short labor, 5 hours with 12 minutes of pushing!!! Labor was VERY intense toward the end and hard, but of course, worth it.
I started having contrax at 3:00, not too intense. I called my DH at work to let him know that I was having contrax and I told him - don't worry, take your time. Well, luckily he came home instead of taking his time. After he got home, showered, ate some dinner, I got in the tub to see what that did to the contrax. I was in there for about one contrax, then my DH said we had to go to the birth center, he didn't want to deliver a baby on the interstate. (The birth center was about a 40 minute drive on the interstate over the mountains) We finally made it to the birth center and I couldn't believe it - I was dialated to a 9!!!!! An hour and a half later, Madison was born.
The birth was picture perfect and everyone is healthy.
