Thread for mamas who are STILL pregnant! - Page 3

Well I woke up preg again. How's everyone else this am? Nausea is a good sign right? Not something I've had before with all the other false stuff going on. I suddenly do not want food and I have lived to eat the last few months. I have had some cramping this am and I have plans to be alone ALLLL day. I woke up with grand plans of cleaning but those are already slipping away

Still pregnant here! I've actually kind of been avoiding this forum, because I was getting too jealous of all the mammas getting to have their babies already.

Not that I should be complaining, I guess, since I still have 11 days until my due date. *sigh* I'm just so uncomfortable and tired of telling my 2 year old I can't do things with her.

Plus, I was "nesting" outside this weekend, clearing brush. I managed to get a terrible case of poison-something-or-other. I'm praying for labor just to have SOMETHING to take my mind off the itching!

What really scares me is that I was 2 weeks late with DD#1, so it could be another 4 weeks!!!

to all the rest of you waiting too!

Well, today is my due date.

I feel completely non-laborific.

Will be 40 weeks on Friday.

Have been really "wired" lately. Last night I was making myself some spaghetti (and I have NOT had energy for cooking for most of this pregnancy!), and I turned to my husband and kind-of yelled, "I feel so HAPPY!"

This morning, woke up feeling cold and nauseous. Now feeling hot and nauseous. -- This is news, because the only time I've thrown-up this whole pregnancy was the morning I proudly and conscientiously downed regular prenatals (instead of chewables) AND a dose of evil, evil, Floradix.

Baby dropped on Monday. Chiro said sacrum is "poking out", then midwife confirmed the drop. I'm still not walking funny like I thought I would be, but midwife said babe is "very" low, so great!

Getting a little emotional, feeling the kicks. There's a REAL BABY in there! A PERSON! Wow!

Man another day! Due date is on Mon so I still have some time but I was hoping... DD came at 37wks well not her little brother obviously! I woke up this morning and my good mood is gone. I'm having cramps and the backache again and I'm not too happy about it. I guess I should be grateful I got a couple of days break but now that its back I'm aggravated again. URGH! I want my baby here!

I'll join in! I'm due the latest of all of you (I think), so after you all have your babies cooing in your arms, please come check on this thread to hear me talking to ... myself!

After the weird, intense, sleepless night of prodromal labor almost a week ago I went through a phase of utter exasperation. Now I'm finally at the stage of (as a PP put it so eloquently) resigned acceptance. I even tried the whole "DTD, nipple stim, walking" routine a few days ago and ZIP. I never tried that with the previous pgcies. I'm seeing my MW today and I'll ask if there's anything to do during another potential prodromal phase to actually keep things going. I'm sure there isn't or one of you would have mentioned it. I get all of my good information from you folks!

I've had some nausea, too. Strange, because I am almost never nauseated (except when I have m/s) - I also ate very little for dinner last night and that is not like me at all.

Well, I'm rounding out my second day of loose stools. That's it. Baby's not dropped....no prodromal contractions....no mucus plug....no bloody show...

Just poop.

Will I EVER get to meet my baby?!?!

The MW doesn't think I'll go all the way to forty weeks, but I told her now that she's said that I won't go until 43!! But, it's better than a friend of mine who went to 45!! (her baby was perfectly fine, btw!)
45 weeks: Please, no.

I am 8 days "overdue" and have been reminding every one else their baby will come when it wants to, so now I think it's payback time. I know baby will come when he's ready, but seriously, it's TIME. I've had all kinds of prodromal labor, haven't been able to sleep at all the past 3 nights. Sigh.

Someone tell my baby to come out.

I'm cranky and don't want to talk to people. Today I snuck off and went to the movies by myself. I'm just bored and pissy... and so tired of being let down by not seeing any show or anything else every time I use the bathroom (which is on the hour, pretty much).

Bleah!!!!

I'm tired of keeping my house spotless for the homebirth! I don't want to vacuum, do laundry and keep everything neat and tidy any more (though I know if it wasn't it would drive me crazy in labor)!

LOL. I know exactly how you feel. Although my husband insists that the one day the house looks like a tornado hit it will be the day I go into labor. Hmmm.... maybe I should try that strategy.... nothing else seems to be bringing the baby on...

Well I had another round of ctx last night. Fairly strong and 6-8 min. apart for about 2-3 hrs before I went to sleep. I finally had to sleep. I couldn't stay up all night waiting to see if they got any stronger and what do you know? I woke up and they're gone again. I'm so sick of this prodromal labor. Due date is in 4 days and I never thought I'd still be pregnant at this point. I'm ready for the REAL labor to start.

41 weeks tomorrow! I'm seeing my MW today and I'm going to have her do a membrane sweep. I've been putting off any sort of interventions to this point, but now I'm going for it. I've also got an acupuncture appointment on Monday, in case I am STILL pregnant at that point (god help me). I'm also feeling crampy pretty much all the time, but it's been like that for at least a week now and nada...

Wow, this is pretty much the last few days for me EXACTLY. I wanted and cooked spagetti for 2 days and we have been a frozen dinner household for the last few weeks, then today I wake up and started to clean but have been nauseous and am thinking of just going back to bed. Ill be 40 weeks on Sunday, Fathers Day, and Im not waddling either but its nice to know someone else is going through it too... Im just trying to be patient! :

I wish I was having any contractions :-( From 28-36 weeks I had horrible contractions all day, having me doubled over and sometimes crying throughout the day and of course from 37 weeks on...NOTHING! Barely any braxton hicks, and no false labor. I swear i think I would welcome any contractions even if they were false. Oh Well, good luck on them progressing soon!

Well "happy" due date to me. I can't believe I'm still pg. DD1 was nearly 2 weeks old now and DD2 was three weeks old. No signs of anything happening any time soon. Contractions which started around 16 weeks have all but disappeared. No mucus plug, no bloody show, no leaks. Just a bigger, and bigger and bigger belly. Sigh. I do so hope this little one comes out soon. I'm starting to get scared that I'm going to wind up with an induction from some random doctor through some local hospital's ER. Please come out baby, pretty please.

I've had cramps for most of the morning (starting at 4am). My due date isn't until Monday so I haven't been overly anxious. Now that I am having such bad cramps though, I want something to happen. The cramps are annoying, not to mention the lack of sleep. I've had no signs of my mucous plug or anything else (well some loose BMs). I was 75% effaced on Monday, I hope these cramps mean I'm dialating now.

Hang in there Moms! Your babies will be here anyday. It just can't be that much longer. Try to find some enjoyment in your life until baby arrives.
