Oh sure, flapjack - be the voice of reason... *grin* what you say makes a lot of sense, but really believing it is difficult! Those crappy decisions that I don't understand are just tripping me up! But I know that you're right, and I will get back there, I just need some time to be pissed off and not trusting for awhile, know what I mean????

Mindi, I had an epiphany looking at a science museum exhibit on the miracle of life- you know, conception, development, all that kind of stuff- and for me, that turned it round. It stopped being about how hard the miscarriages were- instead, it started being "bloody hell. My kids survived this kind of phenomenal odds to get out here into the world and drive me nuts?????" I've said this before, but honestly- sperm, egg, equals person? freaky way-out stuff, more like...

Hopefully you're a little more along then you think you are and you won't have any problems seeing the little bean's heart beating!

update for my highjacking of the thread!

so, everything is great! baby is right where it was supposed to be, my tubes are clear, and my ovaries look fine. AND the very best part, according to the measurements i'm 6w5d and there was a tiny flicker of a heartbeat!!!! the technician was even able to measure how fast it was beating.

she also tried an external ultrasound before going vaginally and was able to see everything fine from the outside, yay for me and yay for lower radiation doses for baby!

so, we can finally start really thinking about names.
