U/S in the morning! *Update*

We're having our one and only u/s tomorrow morning at 9:30 (central). Then I have a MW appointment at 11! Send healthy baby and open legs vibes our way!!!

Isn't there someone else going in tomorrow?

Since we'll see the heartbeat on the u/s, I'm thinking I'll skip the doppler at the MW so the baby isn't inundated with waves so much in one morning. Will they note the heartrate during the ultrasound?

Sending lots of good vibes your way!

I would just ask them for the heartrate during the ultrasound and they can tell you. I do think they usually do it, but it doesn't hurt to ask!

It's another girl!!!

I admit I had boy on the brain and was a little shocked. But I saw very clearly what this little one had going on while the tech was measuring leg bones, so I had a few minutes to process before I said my suspicions out loud. And now that it's sunken in I am SO excited that Allison will have a little sister!!!

There was an "echogenic focus" on her heart that could be a soft marker for Down's Syndrome, but the OB that came in at the end of the u/s as well as my MW (I had my regular appt right after the u/s) both said it's nothing to worry about and that in a few years they probably won't even mention them when they see them. They said that better u/s technology is making these show up more often and they are starting to think it's just much more common than they thought! So I am not worrying about that and focusing on the fact that everything else was ABSOLUTELY perfect!!!

Off to vote in the poll!

Congrats on your girl!

We're having an ultrasound tomorrow at 1 (EST). I'm nervous, but hoping that my bleeding is nothing. And hoping that the baby gives us a nice view of it's reproductive organ!

Woo-hoo! Girls for my squad to date

They said Titus had "ecogenic debris" in his kidneys (or was it liver?) that it would probably be nothing and was possibly even something to do with the u/s equiptment.
