Newbie here.
Woke up yesterday 4AM to what I finally figured out were mild contractions, lasted fairly regularly till about 2 in the afternoon, then sort of fizzled. Was pretty bummed. Went on a long walk
Went to bed hopeful, woke up this morning around 1AM to some moistness. Did my water break? I felt the same as another thread earlier on that I just read over. I timed 2 contractions around 7min., a bit more intense than yesterday, but not bad. Half woke up DH
2AM this morning had some leaking. Am I not holding my pee? Hmm, is this my forewaters? (sp?). The kid is very low (has been for a few weeks). Not much water, but clear and not pee-like. Warm
DH timed contractions for about an hour. Most were about 5min. apart, some sporatic, longer, like 7-8min. Woke up MW @ about 3 something to give her the news
Yahhh! This must be it. So excited. New babe sometime today or tomorrow. Wow.
DH asked what I was most excited about - being a mom, BF, or finding out the sex. I told him that was it - those three in rank order. Wow, amazing. I think I might cry again, gotta love those emotions.
I gotta try to get some more sleep!

Sorry so long!! A bit sleepy, etc. over here. Sounds like the world is awakening, though. Frogs, birds, crickets all making a racket outside!
