guess what I got yesterday?

My AF, and my son just turned 1 month old. I forgot that I always get my AFs soon after having a baby or miscarriage. It's light, and I'm a little crampy, but it's still there. And I just stopped bleeding/spotting last week!!

That sucks. I am dreading the return of AF. I got it at 7 mos pp w/ ds1 but I am worried it will come quicker this time. I guess because I continued to nurse throughout pregnancy and bf may not keep it away this time. I guess I'll find out soon enough.

wow, i am sorry. but are you sure its AF? i was always told anything before 6 weeks was still considered pp bleeding still even if it was stopped 2 weeks before.
i have always gotten mine back at 4 months i am REALLLLLLLLY hoping that Caroline keeps it away for a long long while!!! :P

Maybe it's just return of bleeding? My babe is 6wks today and after a week of no bleeding or even spotting I had fresh bleeding this morning...which I'm assuming is just the last of the PP stuff.... (hopefully! )

oh yeah, I'm def dure it's AF. I had some cramping for the last couple days, and bam...she came to visit yesterday. Today I'm still having some cramping and the bleeding's picked up some. It's still light, but very much there. I remember now that with my other 2 DCs I always got AF between 3-4 weeks, then she'd come every 21 days. After my last m/c though she came about every 35-37 days. Strange.

I thought since I'm BFing and supplementing (due to very low supply issues) that she wouldn't come so soon, but I was wrong.

Ugg, I think that should be illegal. : I got mine back 10 weeks pp with DD and I thought that was bad!! :

you're not alone. i got mine during my 7th week pp (just like with ds1)...only this time i haven't stopped spotting yet! i thought i'd be free of the bleeding with the end of AF.

maybe we should start an "I hate AF club" already?!

I just really thought for sure she'd stay away a tad bit longer...

well, my 1st AF pp wasn't too bad. Lasted 4 days and was a liight flow, no clots, with quite a bit of cramping though. I remember after my last DC cramps were terrible for the 1st couple months. After my 1st DC they were nonexistant till she turned 1yr old. Strange. Plus, I dont know how much worse my cramps will be since I got a tubal. I heard stories it gets really bad afterwards....

Mine is trying to come back too, and my dd is 10 weeks old today. So far I've just had a few days of spotting, and today I've been crampy. It seems so unfair, so soon.
