Not just flutters any more

So I am feeling more and more movement (which is just awesome). But it has gone from just little flutters to actual movement where it feels like turning and twisting and pushing. Sometimes little taps like kicks or punches too.

Anyone else?

Not feeling that yet, but I can't wait! My babe seems to be really calm. In the last week, I've started to feel the baby more regularly, but it's still very light movements. I know both of my dd's were much more active by this point.

Oh yeah. I think mine was trying to burrow a tunnel out of me the other night. I don't feel many kicks, though. More like the twisting and pushing you were describing.

Mine is mostly on the left side or lower. I know they located my placenta in the front right side, so I am sure that's why I only feel the left side. Great feeling! I hadn't felt the baby for a day and yesterday I spent more time laying down and it was tap, tap, tapping all over.

I lovelovelove being punched and kicked. It feels so awesome, I'm enjoying every second of it. Sometimes at work when I sit down w a customer and baby starts doing flips and squirms I wanna tell everyone about it. But usually I just sit and grin from one ear to another. Needless to say my sales have gone up since I am such a happy consultant

LOTS of movement! With DS I didn't have any movement until at least 20 wks, which I know is normal -- I'm at 19 wks now and have been feeling movement since about wk 16, and it has progressed from a few taps to full on punches and kicks that make me stop and pay attention! DS was pretty quiet in utero and turned out to be quite a firecraker. I wonder what it means for this one...

It's my favorite part of pregnancy, for sure. My son loves to put his hands on my belly and tell me he can feel the baby moving around (even when it's not -- or maybe he just has some kind of kid ESP).

What fun!

I'm due early Nov, but at our US last week we found out that I have an anterior placenta, so that's why I'm not feeling a TON of big movements. I feel movement pretty frequently, just not big ones... It's a little frustrating, but reassuring at the same time since I know there's a reason! I felt a lot more movement with ds at this far along.

yes! i was wondering if any of you were...i meant to post a thread about it too. now its more than just thump thump pressure on my cervix or flutters i 'guess' might be baby...now it is twisting/turning its body around and little kick kicks...i just love this!!!!!!! i'm still dyin' to know what this baby is...gender, that is...as some of you know i'm in the process of changing midwives as the one i had informed me at my FIRST prenatal appt. that she won't be the midwife there for me for birthing... which means her dh who is the backup doc wouldn't be there too i suppose if they are OOT for nov-dec.

i want to tell everyone around me too when i feel baby move...i did that yesterday i said to my friend I FELT THE BABY MOVE!!! it was right after i layed down on a blanket at the little splash park to relax...
