family cloth questions - Page 3

OK, I get it for pee and might consider it. But for #2, the e-coli scares me off too much. It just seems...icky. Baby poo doesn't bug me (we're out of the infant stage anyway), but adult/big kid...

Okay, apparently pigs are flying somewhere in the universe!!!!! Dh was actually quite responsive to the idea of fam. cloth??? WT...? He understands the eco reasons, but is worried our already high water bill will go into orbit!!! Can anyone share $$$ facts, I assumed it was sim. to cloth diaper reasoning??

I was thinking of using the 101 infant washcloths I used to use when CD. I have an extra flannel sheet that fell apart in the corners, that would work too!!!

I've seen lots of people say this. But think about it: When you change a poopy diaper, the poop is EVERYWHERE and you're cleaning, what, at least half of the entire poop? When you wipe yourself, there's MUCH less poop on the wipe that you have to clean off.

Disclaimer: I'm not a mom yet, so I can only imagine how bad it can be... but if you all are cleaning up after your LOs during flu/stomach bug season, using family cloth for yourselves will be a breeze!
