Where'd that pregnant brain thread go?

Because, man, I've got some serious pregnant brain!

DH had an accountant over and I was supposed to open QuickBooks onmy computer. I had the menu open and just sat there staring at it for a minute thinking "Oh, um, what am I looking for?" before I finally asked. I had honestly forgotten. Then it was another two minutes while I had to read each item individually before coming to the right thing.


A little bit ago, I was loading the dryer. Happy to remember the dryer sheet. I pull the lint trap out, clean it off then set it in thetrash where the lint goes. Yes, the whole trap I tried to throw away. And guess where the lint ball was? Fortunately it was just big enuogh that it didn't get TOO far down :

Months ago I was following this woman's vehicle when she stopped at a three way stop I take fairly recently. She just sat there, not moving. So I beeped and she moved on. I thought.. distracted much??

Well, guess what I did last week? Yup. I wasn't on the cell phone or anything. I just pulled up to the stop and sat there like I was waiting for a green light (it's only stop signs, not lights) until the guy behind me honked.

I wanted to febreeze our living room couch yesterday. We were picking up the room cuz someone from church was stopping by. I asked dh to get me the "freezer burn on top of the toilet in the downstairs bathroom."

He had no idea what I was talking about and I had no idea why he was laughing at me...
