Has anyone had experience with these? I just got one that the patent date says 1927 - I'm not sure if that's the actual date it was manufactured or not but I know it's pretty old. My sister gave it to me, and it had belonged to my grandmother who did not use it a whole lot since she had a Singer machine that she liked - it was given to her by an elderly man whose wife had died so my grandmother just held on to it. I am wondering the best way to learn to use it. My sister showed me how to load the thread and make it run but it would be fun to know how to use all the little feet things that came with it as well, along with just basic knowledge of how to use and care for it best. Since it's in a cabinet I wouldn't be able to take it to a class. It does have the original manual, but it's kind of hard to understand ... at least to a novice like me!
