Jack is here!

He was born at home this morning at 5:39 am. He is 7 lb 9 oz and 20 inches long.

The "puttering" paid off in the long run, as my active labor was less than 6 hours long. Everything went beautifully. He was born in DS's room. I got out of the birth pool at the last minute and pushed standing up/squatting. I am happy to say I had no tears or stitches.

He is doing fantastic and has been skin to skin except for his newborn exam since birth. He's already nursing beautifully.

I still haven't begun to process it, obviously, but it was what I wanted and more.

I will add pics soon.

I'm so happy that all the "practice" made your labor short & sweet.
