I am taking Maxi Pre-natal they are really good and have herbs in them too...Just wondering what everyone else is taking and if you are taking anything else?

The first hypoallergenic pre- and post-natal supplement available in an easy to digest vegan capsule, this incredible formula covers all the needs of the expectant or new mother with a full spectrum of essential vitamins and minerals. Not only that, it also contains 1000mg of folic acid and 100mg of Neuromins® vegan DHA Complex. This formula truly is the ultimate in nutritional support during pregnancy and post-natal care
Here is the website:

Good question. I've just been taking a regular multi with folic acid and my midwife said that was fine but I've been wondering if I should change to something else.

I am taking the Rainbow Light Just Once this time around. It actually goes down easy and doesn't make me queasy if I take it at bedtime. I found it for a killer price at Iherb.com. Get the 90 tabs + 25 free bottle they have for $14.95. Its normally $40 at my local whole foods for 90 tabs.

I like the maxi ones cause they have ginger in them so you don't get that queasy stomach...WOW! That is a good price for the RL ones they are 31.00 at my health food store. But you have to get the DHA separate I think....

I'm taking the Thompson Prenatal...but that's just because I can get them cheap from a Frontier buying club! :0)

I just take a generic, all-natural prenatal. I've been taking it for 2 years, at bedtime, so it doesn't bother me anymore.

I take Freeda's 1-a-day:

Do you other veg*n moms-to-be take calcium supplements along with your multis?

I take rainbow light's too. I think they taste gross. And they're HUGE. I gag everytime i put one in my mouth.
But, they don't hurt my tummy once they're down, so that's good.

I'm also taking the rainbow light but the ones where you have to take 6 at a time! (dh got them and didn't realize) I'd rather just take one big one. Thanks for the link crbyard! That is a fantastic price!

I took OneSource prenatals (2 little pills instead of one huge pill) for the last 4 years, but my MW had me switch to children's chewables in order to spread my B Vits out throughout the day to help with the nausea.

I take one with iron in the AM, then ones with extra Vit C at lunch and after dinner.

I also take Cal-Mag-Zinc and extra Mag+Potassium after dinner. Those are the ones I have a hard time choking down.

I am taking rainbow light also. I got some free ones from my primary care doc so I will probably take those when I am done with rainbow light but then switch back to rl. I am also searching for a good fish oil. So many brands make me burp nasty fish oil all day long.

rainbow light here, too ... the one a day.

I'm also taking the Rainbow Light Just Once, along with Garden of Life cod liver oil. I am looking to add a multimineral supplement as well.

Add me to the Rainbow Light just once crowd. I'm a vegetarian and can't bring myself to do fish oil, so I take Udo's 3-6-9 oil blend. It's flax, sesame, sunflower, coconut, evening primrose oils and the bran of rice and oats.

Rainbow light here also. The once a day ones.

I took herbalife mulitvitamins for my last two pregnancies. Aside from the complications I had amazing health for them! I love herbalife...

I also take the RL one a day. I have been taking an EFA blend capsule by Mature's Way (http://www.drugstore.com/products/pr...-PLST-0-SEARCH) off and on. I need to order some more though and get more serious about taking them. I like these way better than the cod liver oil...I tried taking some when I wasn't preggo and it almost made me puke every time, bleh...
