Where to buy glass juice container

My glass container for juice has broken and I have been trying to replace it. It was about a half gallon size and had a rubber lid. Where can I buy something like this? All I have seen in the stores are either all plastic with a plastic lid or glass pitchers with no lids. Or if you store your juice another way, I will take other suggestions. Thanks

was going to suggest a pitcher from target... but then saw you wanted a lid.

maybe a large canning jar.... but that would prob be messy to pour from.

I'm looking too. I saw a glass pitcher with a cork lid but can not for the life of me remember where!

I found a wonderful glass pitcher with lid on the King Arthur Flour website, but I don't see it now. It is Italian made, but I don't see the name.

Also, there are large gallon size glass jars with lids at Wal-mart and World Market. I use these for my kombucha.

I make sun tea and other beverages in a large 1/2 gallon canning jar (I have reuseable lids for my jars). I've had them quite some time now. I believe there were 6 in a set for about $15 when I got them. Occassionally I'll get a drip or two but easy to wipe up with your finger!

They actually had glass 1/2 gallon juice pitchers at my Dollar Tree recently. I know things vary from store to store, but it might be worth a trip for $1!

I use 1/2 gallon glass milk jugs from our local milk farmer. They come with a lid, and a handle...very convenient if I do say so myself!

I've seen them listed here (use the drop-down to get the 2-liter version, which sounds like the size you had)

Greenfeet

And at the Container Store

Container Store

Good luck!

I say them on Saturday at Ace Hradware in the kitchen area. Not certain what it cost, but there is was.

Check out your local Goodwill Store.

I have a glass one with a stopper on top. It looks like a wine bottle almost and I got it from IKEA. They are pretty inexpensive and look really nice.

I got a set of 4 juice glasses and a 1/2 gallon pitcher with plastic lid for a wedding gift, but I never knew where they got them. I think I've seen something similar at Walmart (shh, you didn't hear me say that word. )

Try at a yard or garage sale!
