how long should it take?

I have a "My Baby" from dancing rain dolls ready to be made - I am a coward so bought all pre-made everything.
how much time should I budget to make it? It's my second doll...the first was a heavy baby and took about 45 minutes. It's for DD's birthday, which is fast approaching, so I want to make sure I leave enough time to do it....

It takes me a couple of long days to make a jointed doll, but I'm really slow with it.

alaska, did you ever post a pic of your first doll? I wanted to see it. Did you purchase everything pre-made for that one as well? I've had a Little Baby kit sitting in my craft room for several weeks now that I need to begin. Maybe seeing your Heavy Baby will guilt me into finally making ds2's doll!

It takes me several days too. But I do have lots of little interruptions. . .
