What a beautiful family. I love your curly girls. Your little man is adorable and BIG! Our sons are about the same age (I thought!) and DS seems so little compared to yours. Or maybe it's the hair? DS is still kinda bald. :

You are very pretty Nicole.

Arent pictures of yourself hilarious? I mean like the ones where you hold the camera yourself and try NOT to show your double chin ....I think they are so funny but I do appreciate the compliment. Maybe I shoudl have put funny captions or maybe I just dont accept compliments well alas......

Quinn is 13 monthes almost 14mos....how old is your DS? He is a chunky boy like his mama! He's evening out a bit since he started walking but wears even 2T in some things....

I love my curly girls too THANKS! I have been trying to convince DH to let me dread Emmas hair because its soooo curly it is such a PITA to take care of! No go.....DH is pretty conservative compared to me ok REALLY conservative compared to me.

SO adorable!

I need to post pics of my Jack. We just cut his curly hair (it was like your kids, about halfway between your boy and girls' length) and he now has the CUTEST Mohawk! I was so dreading the 'hawk, but it turned out fantastic.

I would love to give Quinn a mohawk!

Thanks for sharing the pics! Your kids are just way too cute...and you, Mama, need to learn to take a compliment! You're beautiful!

ETA: I loc'd dd1's hair and it was sooo cute, but she got tired of it and wanted to cut it all off. Now, it's really short and she hardly brushes or combs it and it's a mess. I did get a fabulous brush that works so well...dh choked when I told him how much it cost, but it really works. Dd1 is contemplating Sisterlocs now. We'd have to save the money...and she'd have to actually keep her hair combed out for a week or so to get them done. But, if she wants them, we will. I want her to feel great about herself...including her hair...there are so many issues wrapped up in it, kwim?

Josiah was like this too, but he really thinned out once he started walking, and he has soooo much energy that he burned off most of the baby chunk! He still has a big belly, but everything else thinned out so much that he's still wearing some of the 18mos clothes that he was fitting into last summer, when he was only 8 or 9mos!

Oooh, I love dreads on kids. Well, I love them in general, but I think they're fabulous on the littles. My friend's five year old has some awesome dreadlocks. I've been trying to convince DH for years to let me get them...I may wear him down eventually!

Pictures, pictures, please! DH has been wanting to give Josiah Jr. a mohawk, but I'm attached to his long hair, and not ready to let it be cut yet! I think when we eventually do cut it, we'll go for the mohawk.

This is EXACTLY what I told Dh if and when Emma decides or Elena whoever decides that they want dreads or braids or whatever the case it is ABSOLUTELy a go because their emotional health to me is much more important than what others think even ASIDE from the fact that being biracial makes things such as these pretty important....there are INDEED so many issues for us specifically too its kind of a thing where people have said to them "oh you have "good" hair" and it completely blows my mind....people on DH's side of the family. Or even going as far as saying "white girl" hair and I detest it. I mean she is NOT a white girl so how can she have "white girl" hair? I really get up in arms about it but even if I spoke up about it no one would get it. I can totally see if they ever did decide to dread their hair oh! the family outrage! NOT from my side whatsoever but the IL's and their extended family.....sorry to ramble.
