No. There's just nothing about the idea of being in a tub full of soft, movable liquidy goop in labour that appeals to me. I like baths in early labour, and trying to get sprurious labour to stop, but for the important things in life, like pushing babies out, I want to feel good solid earth beneath my feet. I have nice short sensible labours, though, so I'm really not one of the people that Odent suggested water for. I did stand just as he was coming out, but it wasn't because I wanted out of the water, it was a need for a position change. Somehow my body knew that if it stood, he'd come out.
