Anyone else with a calm baby?

So this little one has been moving for about 3 weeks now but they are such gentle moves. Just rolls and nudges. No real pokes or prods. And they're not getting stronger or more frequent either.

How are your little ones moving?

And do you think this laid back thing will translate into a laid back baby if it keeps up? (Please?)

I wonder that, too... I expected to be feeling a lot more by now. This is the 3rd time I've been this far along in a pregnancy and I've lost 20 lbs. I still don't feel much. I know baby is fine because we heard the heartbeat yesterday. It was right in front, right under my belly button...so, my placenta is not in the way or anything. I hope to start feeling more soon. But, maybe this lo is just super chill...

I haven't felt much either... I'm 18 weeks and 1 day. Maybe you are right and it relates to calmer babies. I'm very bad remembering dates, so I don't remember whem I started to really feel the movements of my others two children.

Yeah, I am 19 weeks 2 days and every so often I feel a gentle nudge, but nothing more. I remember my other two being rib bruisers, lol! Third baby for me as well, and another boy so who knows, maybe this one will be the calm one!

yes and no...placenta in the way so Im not feeling much, but it did look somewhat busy on u/s. Its SOOO frustrating to not feel much.

Yes, I'm feeling exactly the same things. At my 16 week appt, I told the mw where I was feeling the baby and that's exactly where the hb was, so I don't think the placenta is blocking the movements. I think I just have a very gentle calm baby. And I would say generally, it does translate to a calmer child, but not always.

My first one was a very calm baby, would only kick real hard when I did the icewater or orange juice trick and he was a very mellow sweet baby. My second kicked the heck out of me, took my breath away sometimes when he'd stretch and squirm. He was and still is a dramatic, loud kid.
This one seems to be quiet, I'm hoping for the best, I got my hands full as it is w two boys and a quiet baby would be nice. Aaah, in the end I'll take whatever I'll push out, right?

My 1st son was very active in utero and stil is at 16!! my second son was like the Tasmanian devil while Pg.. so abnormally active even my OB said he had never seen anything like it and he was and is a wild kid (NEVER Slept etc) this baby has been SOOOOOOO quiet comparitively.. I am PRAYING that it will translate into personality.. I really really need a quieter/ lower needs kiddo this time.. pls! also both my boys had major cord entaglement issues and i ma hoping to avoid this so that we can do delayed cord clutting this time... I guess we will all see..

I have an anterior placenta so I feel pretty frequent movement, but nothing big and dramatic like with ds. Mostly just little rolls and pressure.

Ds was a pistol while he was in utero, I could literally watch my stomach bouncing around, but he was a very calm and mellow baby once he got to the outside (and he still is that way for the most part).

I'm hoping for another mellow baby, but like mittendrin said, I'll take whatever I push out!
