My gums

Thread Starter
I've posted about my gums and their lack of health a little bit back. Since then though things had gotten so much better. They were nice colored and didn't hurt or anything.

Lately though they have taken a turn for the worse. And I mean bad. I am sitting here eating noodles with tomatos and feta cheese and felt something between my gums and lip. So I went to get everything out but it turns out it was the gum in front of my two bottom teeth (the ones right in front) folded down. They were not attached to my teeth at all! And they kind of hurt.

It's only the gums right there....the rest of my mouth is fine. I'm so upset by this right now. I've never had mouth issues yet since DD was born (2 years ago) it's been a battle keeping my gums healthy. :

What can I do to repair my gums right there? Is there a way I can naturally re-adhere them or get new growth going that is already sticking? I'm sure I should go to the dentist but I'd rather try and heal this on my own naturally if I can.

I'm pregnant currently and I know my mouth health is important to certain health aspects of the baby. Being pregnant I know that also means I can't do certain treatments and what not. I'm also vegetarian and while I know there are things I can do nutritionally to help heal everything it needs to be veggie friendly (so please...no links to WAPF or anything similar).

Please help my gums! :

Have you tried myrrh? I've read it can be very healing for the gums, and help keep them firm. There's a mouthwash called VitaMyr (I think that's how it's spelled, don't have the bottle at the moment) that is myrrh, zinc and clove in a distilled water base, we've used it in the past for gum irritation my son was having from a dental appliance and it really seemed to help both with healing and with the pain. It's expensive, like $15 for a bottle. You could probaby save money by making your own myrrh infusion. I think the myrrh and zinc in that product are for tissue healing and clove for pain relief. I don't know what long-term nutritional steps to suggest, but you might want to look into myrrh as a topical treatment.
