Jessica, I was thinking about starting this thread too!

I figured it was totally hillarious, and I didn't want to go on hijaking that thread! Wasn't that your thread to begin with anyway?

So, here's basically what I posted over in the other thread, and then some:
DS has quite an obsession with my cell phone! Our first real "incident" was when he was about 14 mos and called 911. The 9 on my phone is automatically programmed to call 911 when held down, so that's how that happened. I didn't even know it until they called back. Actually, they called twice, but I didn't know they called the first time. Either he answered it, or it was just burried under a toy. Anyway, I answered the second time, and the woman said that she was calling from our PD about an emergency call. She probably kept me on the phone for a good two minutes, just to make sure everything really was okay. I was worried we were going to get fined or something (I know you can for prank calling 911), but she just laughed when I finally convinced her it was DS.

Since then, DS has made numerous phone calls to many family members. I have a lot of out of state family who is ahead of us, time wise, and I've warned them that if they get a call from us late at night and get woken up, it's DS's fault.

This is only a problem really because my cell phone doesn't have an option to lock the keys. I guess they figure if it's a flip phone, the buttons can't get pressed. The designer at Samsung obviously doesn't have a toddler!

Last weekend, we were going to meet our mw, and I had just called her twice because I couldn't get through to her vm, and was trying to let her know that we were lost. Then DS got ahold of my phone (I guess in my frustration I didn't realize that I handed it right to him!), and called her again. Of couse, HE got through to the vm!

I apologized to her quite a few times, because I was sure that she was going to think we were crazy and harassing her!

One of the mws that we interviewed told us that she gets a few calls a week from her clients' toddlers.
