Some of those unrealistic things actually aren't so much...in the hospital, my DH caught DS and handed him to me, nobody else touched him til half an hour later when they weighed him. And I didn't have hair, though it is quite difficult to manage when you can't see over the belly.

I found myself wondering if everything in film is *that* unrealistic: are laywers cringing at the coutroom scenes and EMTs cringing at the ambulance scenes and firefighters cringing at the fire scenes? I know there's always a little bit of drama, but c'mon!

When shows like "Third Watch" and other firefighting movies came out.. you bet there was a LOT of talk at the station about how unrealistic certain parts were.
