Craft Blogs
I have to add my two cents for crafty mamas that write about their lives and how their lives roll on:
An Australian mother of two who writes about life as mother or two, sews, knits and is living in the midst of a massive house remodel. Her writing leaves me breathless.

Another talented Australian artist and mother of two:
http://applehead.typepad.com/applehead/. After my son watched me reading her blog, he wanted to comment on a collage series she did. To our delight, she sent him some prints, and later a postcard while they were on vacation. He still refers to her as his 'Australian friend'.
Kristin Nicholas
http://getting-stitched-on-the-farm.blogspot.com/ is a knitwear designer, author, illustrator and mother. She lives on a farm in rural Massachusetts, raising chickens, guinea hens, sheep, sunflowers and her daughter. Her designs appear regularly in Interweave Knits and in a lot of their book collections. She writes mostly about color, inspiration and life on the farm.
I have to balance the time I spend reading other people's blogs and the time I spend on my own craft pursuits. Too much reading can quickly leave me feeling overwhelmed, inadequate and lacking in talent. I prefer to read the blogs of people who do different crafts, particularly illustrators and painters because their colors and works are a source of inspiration without directly pulling me down.
